      <image:title>About Sarah - Dr. Sarah Berkshire, DPT, PT</image:title>
      <image:caption>Dr. Sarah Berkshire is the proud owner and founder of Twist Physical Therapy.  Sarah Berkshire has been a practicing physical therapist since 2009. She has worked for multiple small practices throughout Seattle. She uses a mix of hands-on manual therapy and functional exercise to help clients reach their goals. She believes in tailoring every session to each individual and looking at the whole body, rather than only focusing on the area of pain. Sarah believes in helping clients continue the activities they love with modifications as she works with you to understand and correct underlying dysfunctions. Her background as an athlete and coach in figure skating and synchronized ice skating gives her a unique understanding of body movement and the needs of athletes and those who are active. Sarah graduated from Regis University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).  She also attended the University of Oregon and received B.S. in Human Physiology and Psychology. In her free time Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter camping, hiking, and skiing. She also enjoys gardening, Pilates and yoga classes and being active in general. She is an ice skating coach for Washington Ice Emeralds, Kraken Skating Academy learn to skate classes and beginner skaters. She competes with the Adult Washington Ice Emeralds Synchronized Skating Team.</image:caption>
